new shoes, a lobster dinner, and the latest scandal.
I need someone who’ll

do anything,
and
love it.
Dissipated like alcohol, oft too easily, into the frivolousness of the night. And nothing remains but a bad hangover when dawn breaks.
We need to remember.
And that makes life worth living.
I love the idea that he used to just sit and stare at an empty canvas for as long as 12 hours straight. If you keep staring at the canvas, the hope is that something or someone will come to mind. That’s a romantic notion in itself. - on Pablo Picasso
Your smile

I think Tumblr and LJ retains a certain intimacy and quality of content, as opposed to twitter or facebook.

That’s a double standard for you
It’s phony that one would bemoan copyright issues and the integrity of one’s creation yet when the same person quotes others, sources are not evidently stated.

I know you are there, smilin’ back at me
Dancin’ in moonlight, I know you are free
Cos’ I can see your star, shinin’ down on me

I still remember
“I’ve never in my entire life seen so many stars in the sky. If I were a conspiracy theorist I’d say that light pollution in the industrialized world is designed to keep people from looking up into the night sky and being reminded of the fact that we’re tiny.”
Listening to Iron & Wine is like lying in the waving grasses of the plains, and the romanticism of a vineyard.

Everyone should read this article Michael’s last rehearsal
Once again I stand guilty of not appreciating someone enough until they are gone never to return. And so it is with Michael. I call him by his first name now because I know him personally—but only so after his passing and only after seeing his movie “This is It.”
I finally understand Michael the man, both the human being and the...
